Theme: "The Good-life Is God’s Will For You"
By Pastor Anita
"And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean"- (Luke 5:12).
Notice that the leper didn’t question the power of the Lord Jesus; He knew that the Lord had the power to heal him, but he didn’t know if He "would." Sadly, some people are still that way today. Not only is God able to help you, He’s even more willing (than you could ever be) for you to have an excellent life. In Jeremiah 29:11, He said, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you…thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
In 3 John 1:2 He expressed His willingness and desire for your total prosperity—the prosperity of your spirit, soul, and body: "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." Divine healing and health, financial prosperity and the good-life are your divine inheritance in Christ.
The desire you demonstrate for the good things of life is placed in you by God. Philippians 2:13 says, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." In other words, that desire in you for good things is a reflection of God’s desire and His will for you to have a good life. No good father wants his children to go through life suffering or become victims in life. Our Lord Jesus, through His vicarious death on the cross, brought us into a life of glory and excellence.
He’s more willing to provide for you than you could ever be willing to receive from Him. Psalm 68:19 says He daily loads us with benefits. He loves you, and He’s more passionate about your success in life than you could ever be.
Confession
Dear Father, I rejoice in the knowledge of your Word today, and declare that success, prosperity, victory, health and the good life are mine in the Name of Jesus. Thank you for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, in Christ. I walk in my divine inheritance today. Halleluiah!
